With the same object he abridged the Sri-Bbashya in verse by his famous work 'Adhikaranasaravali'. The verses are all in Sragdbara metre and well deserve to be described in the author's own words as ama getire: The book is simple and sweet and contains the whole essence of the Sri-Bhashya. It is ad. mired by all Sanskrit Scholars. The author says in the opening of the work that he expounded Sri-Bhashya under Ranganatha's command. The book has an excellent commentary written by the author's son Nainaracbarya whose scholarship was profound. The Stotras of Vedanta Desika are in themselves a superior kind of literature. They are in the choicest language and contain many grand ideas. The author often puts into his Stotras the words of the Upanishads. We give here & specimen. अस्येशाना त्वमसि जगतः संश्रयन्ती मुकुन्दं लक्ष्मीः पद्मा जलधितनया विष्णुपत्नीन्दिरेति । यन्नामानि श्रुतिपरिमलान्येवमावर्तयन्तो नावर्तन्ते दुरितपवनप्रेरिते जन्मचक्रे ॥ This sloka reminds us of two Srutis "Streenate che fa. णुपत्नी' and 'इमं मानवमावर्ते नावर्तन्ते' His Dayasataka is a beautiful appaal to the Grace of the God at Tirupati.
