With the same object he abridged the Sri-Bbashya in verse by his famous work 'Adhikaranasaravali'. The verses are all in Sragdbara metre and well deserve to be described in the author's own words as ama getire: The book is simple and sweet and contains the whole essence of the Sri-Bhashya. It is ad. mired by all Sanskrit Scholars. The author says in the opening of the work that he expounded Sri-Bhashya under Ranganatha's command. The book has an excellent commentary written by the author's son Nainaracbarya whose scholarship was profound. The Stotras of Vedanta Desika are in themselves a superior kind of literature. They are in the choicest language and contain many grand ideas. The author often puts into his Stotras the words of the Upanishads.
