तस्य निवं यं कर्तव्यं सुग्रीवो राघवाज्ञया ।
किठिकन्धाद्रिगुहां गन्तुं मन: प्रणिदधे द्रुतम् ॥ १४५ ॥

नामग्राहं कपिभिरशनेः स्तूयमान: समन्ता-
दन्वग्भावं रघुवृषभयोर्वानरेन्द्रो विरजन् ।

अभ्यर्थेऽम्भःपतनसमये पणलभतसान
किष्किन्धात्रे न्यविशत मधुक्षीबगुञ्ज द्विरेफम् ॥ १४६ ॥

इति भट्टिकाव्ये वालिवधो नाम षष्ठः सर्गः ॥

 145. Having performed his (last) rite, sugriva, at the command of Rama, decided to go quickly to the cave in the Kiskindha mountain.

 146. Being praised loudly, all around, with the mention of (his) name, and shining with a friendly disposition towards the two best of Raghus(Sugriva) the King of monkeys entered the Kiskindha mountain whose summit was saturated with leaves and where bees, intoxicated by honeywere humming as (the rainy season), the time for the showering of waters, was nearby.
