चापं bow; शोकसंविग्नमानसः = शोकेन संविग्रं मानसं यस्य सः by sorrow, agitated, mind, whose, he;
इति श्रीमद्भगवद्गीतासूपनिषत्सु ब्रह्मविद्यायां योगशास्त्रे श्रीकृष्णार्जुन
संवादेऽर्जुनविषादयोगो नाम प्रथमोऽध्यायः।
Thus in the Upanishats of the glorious Bhagavad-Gita, the science of the ETERNAL, the scripture of Yoga, the dialogue between Shri Krishna and Arjuna, the first discourse, entitled :
THE YOGA OF THE DESPONDENCY OF ARJUNA.
इति thus ; श्रीमद्भगवद्गीतासु in the blessed Bhagavad-Gitas ; उपनिषत्सु in the Upanishats; ब्रह्मविद्यायां=ब्रह्मणः विद्यायां of the ETERNAL, in the Science; योगशास्त्रे = योगस्य शात्रे of Yoga, in: the scripture ; श्रीकृष्णार्जुनसंवादे = श्रीकृष्णस्य च अर्जुनस्य च संवादे , of Shri Krishna, and, of Arjuna, and, in the dialogue ; अर्जुन- विषादयोगः = अर्जुनस्य विषादस्य योगः of Arjuna. of despondency , the Yoga ; नाम name ; प्रथमः first ; अध्यायः discourse.
