यांति go; देवव्रताः = देवेषु व्रतं येषाम् ते in the gods, vow, whose, they; देवान् to the gods ; पितॄन् to the pitris : यांति go; पितृव्रताः=पितृषु व्रत येषाम् ते in the pitris, vow, whose they ; भूतानि to the Bhutas ; यांति go; भूतेज्याः = भूतेभ्यः इज्या येषां ते, for the Bhutas, sacrifice, whose, they; यांति go; मद्याजिनः = मां यजंते इति me, sacrifice, thus ; अपि also ; मां to me.
पत्रं पुष्पं फलं तोयं यो मे भक्त्या प्रयच्छति ।
तदहं भक्त्युपहृतमश्नामि प्रयतात्मनः ॥ २६ ॥
He who offereth to Me with devotion a leaf, a flower, a fruit, water, that I accept from the striving self, offered as it is with devotion. (26)
पत्रं & leaf; पुष्पं a flower ; फलं a fruit ; तोयं water; यः who; of ( to ) me; भक्त्या with devotion; प्रयच्छति offers ; तत् that ; अहं I; भक्त्युपहृतम् = भक्त्या उपहृतं with devotion, offered; अश्नामि eat; प्रयतात्मनः प्रयतः आत्मा यस्य तस्य striving, self, whose, of him.
यत्करोषि यदश्नासि यज्जुहोषि ददासि यत् ।
यत्तपस्यसि कौंतेय तत्कुरुष्व मदर्पणम् ॥ २७ ॥
Whatsoever thou doest, whatsoever thou eatest, whatsoever thou offerest, whatsoever thou givest, whatsoever thou doest of austerity, O Kaunteya, do thou that as an offering unto Me. (27)
