Objects subjected to destruction are genera- lly classified under three heads, thing destroyed, thing not yet destroyed but will be destroyed (avinasta) and thing being destroyed (vinasyamana). Of them the destroyed object (vinasta) cannot be the Asraya (resort) of destruction. We say that a thing is being destroyed when that object is actually the Asraya of destruction. Such condition cannot be stated in connection with the destroyed (vinasta) object, for an already destroyed object requires no further destruc- tion. We cannot again state like wise ( that it is being des troyed ) with reference to the Avinasta ( thing not destroy- ed but will be destroyed ). A third object outside the category of the two is not to be traced, for if the object is associated with the act of destruction, then it is to be called Vinasta, and if it does not come in contact with the act of destruction it will be called as Avinasta. These two are indestructible as already explained. So an originated consti- tuted (Samskrta) existing (Bhava) object cannot be explai- ned as destructible. Objects that are not originated are regarded as un-constituted (Asamskrta ). The opponent will not associate destruction with reference to those (Asamskrta ) objects. So destruction of objects cannot be proved. 26 स्थितस्य तावद्धावस्य निरोधो नोपपद्यते । featu fatiafagyi atita farcia: नास्थितस्यापि भावस्य निरोध उपपद्यते ॥२७ ।
