व्यजिघक्षत सुरान्नित्यं प्रामाद्यद् गुणिनां हिते ।
आशङ्कत सुहृद्वधूनवृद्धान् बहमन्यत ॥ ३९ ॥

बोधंररमतेभिस्ते पिताऽत्यज्यत यंमया” ।
ततोऽरुडयवनर्वच्च द्विविंशतिभिरेव च ॥ ४० ॥

शरैरताडयञ् डयबन्धे पञ्चविशतिभिर्नपस ।
रावणि,स्तस्य सौमित्रिरमथ्नाच्चतुरो हयान् ॥ ४१ ॥

सारथि चाऽलुनाड् बाणैरभनक् स्यम्बनं तथा ।
सौमित्रिम किरद् बाणैः परितो रावणिस्ततः ॥ ४२ ॥

तावस्फावयतां शक्ति बाणाश्चऽकिरतां मुहुः ।
वारुणं लक्ष्मणोऽक्षिप्यवक्षिपद् रौद्रमिन्द्रजित् ॥ ४३ ॥

ते परस्परमासाद्य शस्त्रे नाशमगच्छताम् ।
आसुरं राक्षसः शस्त्रं ततो घोरं व्यसर्जयत् ॥ ४४ ॥
