age. It was at his instance that he composed his masterpiece Pra- kriyâsarvasva, a voluminous Vyakarana work, which is said to have elicited unstinted praise from the great Bhottoji Dikshita. The following works are now known to have been written by the author:

16. Subhadrâharanaprabandha.
17. Svahasudhákara.
18. Kotiyaviraha
 Sangitaketusringâralîlãcharita.

 It is traditionally known that the Kalidina on which the composition of Narayaniya was completed is indicated by the last word "आयुरारोग्यसौख्यम्" in the book. this is about 1590 A.D. and the date of the author is therefore conclusively fixed in the latter half of the 16th century A.D.
