Mantrapāda तेषामग्रे मत्तमयूरा इव नृत्तं ___ कामाः स्वैरं कुर्युरभीष्टार्थमनोज्ञाः॥ The worship of Mātrkāmālini is most beneficial as enumerated in the following lines : भोगैश्वर्यं वाञ्छति चेत् तत् खलु विन्देद् वागैश्वर्यंं वाप्यथ वाचस्पतितुल्यम् । भोगैश्वर्यं चाष्टगुणं स्यादणिमाद्यं नानैश्वर्यं नेच्छति चेन्मोक्षमपीयात् ॥
The aspect called Gauri also proves beneficial to the devotees. In the concluding stanza the author says that the same goddess assumes different forms, though basically the divine power is one and the same.
The illustration of metres is continued in this section also. The metres used are: स्रग्विणी, प्रमिताक्षरा, वैश्वदेवी, नवमालिनी, प्रहर्षिणी, मोहनी, रुचिरा, मत्तमयूरा, असंबाधा, अपराजिता, प्रहरणकलिता, वसन्ततिलकं, सिंहोन्नत, शशिकला, चन्द्रावर्ता, माला, स्रग, मणिगुणनिकरः, मालिनी। (24) The section is called Pancadurgapatala. Five aspects of Durgă are given here. The goddess is described as all powerful.
सकल भुवनसर्गस्थित्यपायप्रवृत्ति
शतधृतिहरिरुद्रास्तन्वते यां प्रविष्टाः।
स्फुरति हि खलु विश्वं यामुपाश्रित्य मायां
__ रजत मिव च शुक्ति सास्तु दुर्गा श्रियै वः ॥ Various forms of worship are suggested for securing different objects like the death of an enemy winning the favour of a lady, gaining prosperity, etc. The various metras illustrated in the section are : अरविन्दकं, सुन्दरम , ऋषभगजविलसितं, युद्धोन्नद्धा, वाणिनी, हरिणी, पृथ्वी, वंशपत्रपतिता, मन्दाक्रान्ता, शिखरिणी । (24) The section is devoted to the enumeration of the modes of worship regarding two aspects of the goddess, viz., Vanadurgā and Sulini.
