181 Concluding stanza in praise of the methods for calculating and projecting an eclipse that have been stated above: CONCLUDING STANZA 78. This procedure regarding the Sun, the Moon, and the shadow, which has come down (to us) by tradition, has been stated here having cast off pride and jealousy. A learned person who acquires a mastery of this (procedure) shall become a (proficient) astronomer well versed in all astronomical methods.
