The First WikiConference India is being organized in Mumbai and will take place on 18-20 November 2011.
You can see our Official website, the Facebook event and our Scholarship form.(last date for submission is 15 August 2011)

But the activities start now with the 100 day long WikiOutreach.

Clarifications about wikisource

Dear Ramesh,I appreciate your interest and efforts in creating articles in sanskrit.I have found that some articles, you have created regarding the festivals and some others(गौः) are not related to sa-Wikisource. Wikisource should ideally contain source texts(No summaries and explanations) viz., Vedas, Upanishads,Mahabharatam,Geetagovindam etc. The articles you have created already exist in sa-wikipedia. I would kindly ask you to go through articles in sa-wikipedia and continue your work over there. What does a wikisource include and exclude is given here.[१].
