वरिषीष्ठ शिवं क्षिष्यन् मैथिल्याः कल्पशाखिनः ।
प्रावारिषुरिव क्षण क्षिप्ता वृक्षाः समन्ततः ॥ २५ ॥

संबुबुधुः स्वामाकूतमाज्ञां विवरिषद्रुतम् ।
अवरिष्टक्षमक्षम्यं कपिं हन्तुं दशाननः ॥ २६ ॥

ऊचे ‘संवरिषीष्ठास्त्वं गच्छ शत्रोः पराक्रमम् ।
वृषोष्ठा युधि मायामिः स्वरिता शत्रुसम्मुखम् ॥ २७ ॥

द्र से संस्वरिषीष्ठास्त्वं निर्भयः प्रधनोत्तमे ।
स मायानामगात् सो त कवैविधवितुं द्युतिम् ॥ २८ ॥

विगाढाऽऽरं वनस्याऽसौ शतृणां गाहित कपिः ।
अलं रधितुमरेभे रद्ध लनिवासिनाम् ॥ २९ ॥

निष्काषितव्यान् निष्कोष्ठं प्राणान् वशमुखत्मजात् ।
प्रावाय परिघं तस्यौ वनान् निष्कुषितनुमः ॥ ३० ॥


 25. Hurling the wish-yielding trees, he solicited the well being of Sta, and scattered, all around, the trees, (which), as it were, covered the whole earth.

 26. Desirous of concealing his own agitation (and) intent upon exhibiting his (sovereign) command, Ravana, hastily selected the irresistible Aksa for killing the monkey.
