अथ नवमः सर्गः

( अथ प्रकीर्णकाः )

द्वभङ्गध्वनिसंविग्नाः कुवत्पक्षिकुलाकुलाः।
अकार्षीः क्षणद।चय रावणस्य निवेदनम् ॥ १ ॥

यवताप्सीच्छनैमन्येनऽवासीन्मितं मरुत् ।
यदाप्यानं हिमोत्रेण भनयुपवनं कपिः ” ॥ २ ॥

ततोऽशीतिसहस्राणि किङ्कराणां समाविशत ।
इन्द्रजित्सूविनाशाय मारुतेः क्रोधमूच्छतः ॥ ३ ॥

शक्त्युष्टिपरिघप्रासगदामुद्गरपाणयः
व्यश्नुवाना बिशः प्रापुर्वनं वृष्टिविषोपमाः ॥ ४ ॥

NOW CANTO IX

(Now, Miscellaneous Forms )

 1. Terrified by the noise of the breaking of the trees and agitated by the moaning flocks of birds, the demonesses made a report to Ravana.
