Sce, the world is now slumber- ing, as it were, profoundly--its eyes in the form of multitude of lotuses are closed and motionless, in it the distinction between day and night is completely gone, the darkness is seen at intervals through gleams of lightning, the countenance of heaven is close concealed, it is lying within the chamber made by the torrents and is furnished with the covering of umbrellas in the shape of multi- tudinous clouds (roaming) in the wide expanse of the atmospheric regions.---[निष्यन्दीकृत०]-नियन्दानि निश्श्रेष्धानि पाषण्डानि कमलवमान्येव नयनानि यस्य तत्.-[षण्डम् -multitude. अपडं पनादिसंघाते न खो स्याहोपत्ती पुमान्' 'पण्डः समूहे' इति सारस्थतकोषः.-[पयोधारा०] पयोधारा जलधारा एच गृहं तस्यान्तर्गतं मध्यवर्ती.--[स्फीता-रफीते दीर्धायमाणे अम्बोधराणां मेघानां थामनि व्योति नैकाश्च ते जलदा मेघसमूहाः त एव छत्रं यस्य तार--[अपिधान.] Covering, 'अपिघानं तिरोधानपिधानाच्छादनानि च, इत्यमरः.
